DVD giveaway!

Would you like a chance to win one of two copies of this fantastic and useful DVD?  I will share how to at the end of my little review.

When Carrie asked for bloggers on Instagram to take part in her dvd blog party I jumped at the chance!

Many of you will know of Carrie's fabulous Collage line of fabric.  Carrie is an artist at heart and this DVD is a very practical, insightful view into Carrie's mind as an artist and how to apply this to our quilt designs.  When I first heard about this DVD I was delighted as I have struggled with how to approach my quilt design at times.

The DVD is extremely well structured and Carrie comes across as relaxed, friendly and speaking from an experienced position.  Her passion for Art clearly shines through as she speaks about practical techniques to try out so that we do not feel afraid to draw and design.

Carrie shares her design process with her audience and I was suprised(and relieved) to find that I work in quite a similar way.  She speaks of not being a planner and working in a very creative, instinctual way.  This suits me to a tee.  It is all about finding your creative voice!   And not worrying about perfection.  I am sure many of us do that!

Practically speaking, Carrie takes you through her design process visually with how she created her bird nest quilt.  It is an awesome process to watch and learn from!
Her love for her children clearly shines through when Carrie shares how her children's artwork inspires her textile works too.

I completely loved this DVD from start to finish.  It is all of these things;
  • Inspiring
  • Encouraging
  • Practical
  • Freeing
  • Reassuring
If you would love to win a copy then head over to Carrie's beautiful blog here at Suchity Such and comment on her Giveaway post for a chance to win!
